ZONE 7 HUNT - UKC SEPT 14-15, 2012
Our club is gearing up for a big season. Saturday, Feb 4th will be the Texas State Squirrel hunt. This all day event welcomes hunters from several states who compete in a double elimination event. Kicks off with breakfast served at 6 am. and lunch at 11 a.m. There is a dog show, treeing contest, and lots of fellowship as squirrel hunters from all over enjoy the time together.
We hold the RQE UKC hunt on the 18th of Feb. Normally over 30 dogs hunt to qualify for the State hunt held in Sept. The night before we have an UKC hunt and give away a hunting light to dog and hunter with largest score..
This year UKC ask the Cass County Coonhunters to host one of the 7 zone hunts. This is one step closer to the world hunt.,
